Twelve weeks of elective time is available in combined PGY-II/PGY-III. Electives offered include: Anesthesiology, Vascular Surgery, Infectious Diseases, Pulmonary Medicine, Nephrology, Chemical Dependency unit, Podiatry, Hematology-Oncology, High risk OB, Gynecology, Emergency Medicine Research, Procedures, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Eye/ENT, and Surgery.

The following conferences are specially designed for Family Medicine residents:

  • Behavioral Medicine and Core Curriculum lectures
  • Grand Rounds
  • Daily Morning Report and Morning topic discussions
  • Journal Clubs
  • Case Presentations
  • Morbidity and Mortality Conferences
  • Outpatient topic discussions

Daily lectures on different topics are given by attending physicians from different specialties.
