Job Essentials
- Ensures credential department is compliance with regulatory agencies
· Develops and implements policies and procedures for the credentials process
· Responsible for leading, coordinating, monitoring, maintaining the initial appointment and reappointment to the medical staff processes
· Conduct thorough background investigation research and primary source verification for physician appointment to the medical staff
· Assist with completion of FPPE an OPPE reviews required for appointment and reappointment to the medical staff
· Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the credentialing process
· Submits and retrieves National Practitioner Database reports
· Maintain verification letters for outside requests and responds to inquires
· Maintains all insurance database systems, ie CAQH, IMPACT
Pay Range $25 to $39
