Family Medicine Residency Program

How to Apply

Applications for a PGY – I position at Jackson Park Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program should be sent through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Jackson Park Hospital is an equal opportunity employer. The Family Medicine Residency Program will not discriminate based upon sex, sexual preference, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability or veteran status.

We receive over 1800 applications each year to fill our six PGY – I positions.

All applications received through ERAS are carefully reviewed by the Selection Committee and candidates are invited for an interview based on academic credentials, test scores, personal statement and letters of recommendation.

Factors that weigh into the decision to offer an interview include:

  1. Medical school graduation no more than 5 years ago.
  2. USMLE Step I & II including Step-2/CS exams passed in first attempt only.
  3. Letters of recommendations, especially those specific to a recommendation for Family Medicine.
  4. We do not sponsor any visas.
