SCOPE OF PRACTICE FOR THE NURSING EDUCATION DEPT AT JPH

The nursing education department at Jackson Park Hospital & Medical Center focuses on:

• Orientation of all new nurses
• Keeping all clinical staff updated on new clinical techniques and programs
• To provide educational day to ensure all mandatory inservices are provided to all clinical staff as required by JCAHO
• To update all hospital staff to new policies and procedures
• Community Outreach Programs to the target market area
