Family Medicine Center (FMC)
The Jackson Park Hospital Family Health Center is a group of physicians who provide total health care for you and your entire family. The Center is supported by Jackson Park Hospital, a comprehensive community teaching hospital.
The aim of Family Practice is to give you and your entire family your own personal physician who looks out for your well being by providing preventive care and early detection of illness. This is done through regular health screenings, taking care of you when you're sick, and referring you to qualified specialists when needed. The Center is staffed by board certified specialists in family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics, and a support staff of nurses and medical assistants. Specialists in internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, psychiatry, surgery and other subspecialities are available for consultation.
The Hospital and the Center are committed to this community and to insuring that there is a continuing supply of qualifed doctors to serve you. Consequently, the Center trains licensed physicians who wish to advance their education and specialize in family practice. The education program insures that all our physicians are up to date and are able to provide you with quality care.
We encourage you to bring in your family members, young and old, for their own individual, personalized health care. The entire family can be cared for by the same physician.
