30th Annual Gala Dinner Dance: Saturday June 6, 2009
The Gala is our main fund raising event of the year. We honored our Physician of the Year (William O. P. Dorsey III, M.D.), Humanitarian of the Year (Brian Flood) and our Employee of the Year (Georgetta Karikari).

William O. P. Dorsey III, M.D., Senior Attending ophthalmologist, Chairman of the Board of Jackson Park Hospital Foundation, and Co-Director of the Foundation for Jackson Park Hospital, was chosen as the Physician of the Year by a Committee of his peers.

Proceeds from these events go toward the Foundation for Jackson Park Hospital's support of the school clinic at the Schools of the South Shore campus, asthma and diabetes education, and other health/education projects on behalf of the south side community.
